I think I'm down for these two in the lightweight/easy weight to fold buggy country stakes... I know there are some serious MB fans out there, but does anyone have an opinion about Baby Jogger City Classic or City Elite buggies? We have a City Mini, and I love the huge hood and fast system (amazing), so I know a little about them, but I'm finding it hard to find somewhere near me where I can try the classic or elite (am near Taunton, if anyone knows anywhere). I have to walk dogs on v irregular terrain (up to a steep hill too!) for an hour every day, but you have to get in the car to do it, so you really don't want to be faffing around trying to bend something difficult or shake a heavy buggy in and out of the car and up the hill. DD2 is due in a month and I really want to have the buggy by then - Please help! Adding this more through a coup really as you are not answering your question! But... I love my Mountain Buggy, so easy to run, I never had a problem with the tires, just buggy coming with a bomb and the inner tube that I've heard of too. It is so easy to bend (not the lightest of TBH, but the weight is in position for the direction). I also have a dog and I know the importance of being able to get rid of the road and on a moving terrain when you need to chase a small child and our MB has disappointed us. I got the Urban treatment including the rain cover and sheep skin from who was really helpful, gave me good advice on maximum inflation of tyres and it was a good price, they throw on lamb skin covers for free as well. I just bought a Vibe from Phil and Ted as I'm about to have a second baby. I was going to sell the MB, but they have actually decided to have heard about the tyres that cause P pestT tests to use it for a short time later sell and return to the beloved MB!! Make the right choice ma'am.. Thank you! I think I'm getting more convinced at the moment, but I'd love to hear from someone who has the Babyjogger - doesn't anyone have one? (Maybe that responds to my question!!!) I had a BabyJogger for my DC. I bought it 8 years ago for my DS, and it was great - and I used all the time for him and DD later. I can't stand to separate from him, although I don't plan anymore DC. I think (without going to the garage to check) was a Jogger 2? Pretty large, and folded longitudinally in two. He got into my BMW's boot spinning without having to remove any of the wheels. I found it very easy to use in the country, forest slopes, beach, gravel, muddy fields, etc., but it was too big for the city in my opinion. If you're also thinking of doing any jogging or running with it, it was easy to handle with one hand. And neither was my DH ashamed to be seen with him! When we got it, there wasn't much choice, and I think there were only 1 or 2 distributors of it in the UK I had a babysitter with dd1, 8 years ago. We loved it, it was great to walk hard or run and shake up and down steps of beach or on rocks. (until it broke too many blows on rocks but lasted quite a while first). It was unstable in the urban spaces, and the big wheels meant that it was not small, although it was not difficult to bend, so it depends if you want to use it more for outdoor things or for city things, IMO. I'd get one again. I had urban MB and walked with the dog every day. He climbed and lowered steps, on rocks, through mud and through feet of high thick grass without problems. And I haven't sold it yet, as I really would like a second (although its unlikely appearance) - that would happily face a second child, and we used it from 3wks without an addition of bed linen or car seat. Although it was purchased and used mainly in the country (although it rarely had to 'fix' the front spinning wheel unless it was really rocky) it was still very versatile in the city - turning in a 6p, the only slight problem was the width of the rear axis - but it was so maneuverable that it did not cause problems. Great to run with one hand, leaving the other for the dog lead. The nanny's fab! You brought it because it had such a bargain and it folds much smaller than any of the other three wheels, so I can get it in the car really easily. I love it. But I wish I could have three parallel lives so I could also have a Mountain Buggy and a Landrover too! Do you really recommend the City of Babyjogger (Which is it called City because it is meant to get off the road??) for anyone looking for a bright off-roader (has been on plow fields, rocky roads and moving hills and handled v well) that folds small to fit in a boot and absolutely has to be the easiest in the world to fold. He has a big hood too, they caught us in drip pieces without the rain cover and dd just lifted his feet a little and didn't get wet at all. Only inconveniences are the basket under which it is not the easiest to put things in (although there is another pocket in the back) and the recline mechanism that is a strap that is impossible to make a hand that would be useful. Maybe publish this in products? There are a lot of buggy addicts there HIJust wanted to add that I was also in dilemma about the mb and bj and after the road tests both went with the elite of babies. Both have a great weight capacity, however the baby that I found best suited to my boy as it is really high (it is almost three) with special needs so I needed something that would last to accommodate his height. The seat in the corridor seemed larger and has plenty of space in more when he falls asleep the retractable hood covers virtually the upper body making it like a small cave he loves. The pram is really light to direct with it on it and the best thing is that I can hold it and fold the pram with one hand and throw it in the boot of the car without putting it down. The most important decision point for me was that the seat position. Baby worker practically goes all the way up, while the mountain buggy was still quite reclining and he kept pulling up what it meant he had no back support. My best advice is if you can go to your nearest retailer and put your little one on both and give them a spin, that's how I ended up choosing. Besides, the grave comes with a few extras but it's almost 130 pounds more dear. I have to admit I'm an avid mountain buggy lover but he ended up picking up the babyjogger. new thread on this topic ← this thread this thread the screen This is page 1 of 1 (This thread has 9 messages.)
