how much does prolotherapy cost
Regenerative Medicine Services Investing in your health is just that – "an investment." Unlike material or financial investments, health investments must make you gain in well-being, mobility, strength and stability, among a lot of other benefits. What good are material things without the true gift of good health? In Caring Medical we strive to achieve that ultimate goal for you – that goal of being healthy and active without chronic pain. Only you can decide what is right and "value the investment" when it comes to out-of-pocket costs for your medical care. We will do our best to inculcate the feeling of "what was worth" when you come to Caring Medical for Prolotherapy. Standard Payment Policy We respectfully ask for payment at the time of service for established patients. New patient consultations are paid before programming. Treatments received during the visit can be paid at the time of service. As a new patient, our team will schedule two appointments for you: an initial phone history with a member of the clinical staff and a consultation in person with the doctor. These are included in the prepaid and non-reimbursable rate. We like to take the time to get to know more about your case by phone, before seeing it in person, in order to review your past medical history, medications, etc... This also gives you a good opportunity to get some answered initial questions about preparing for your personal visit to our office! Caring Medical accepts all major credit and/or cash cards for payment. Consultation " Patient consultation/examination: $375 (This rate is not reimbursable and prepaid to programmer.) Follow-up visits and queries for new problems: $175Fee Guidelines The following list has been provided as a guide to determine the expected costs of the various services provided in the Medical Service. The real price may be more or less depending on the exact area involved, as well as whether Stem Cell or PRP Prolotherapy is recommended, as well as any type of nitrous sedation or gas used during treatment, which adds to the cost of general treatment. For example, someone with "back pain" could have pain at the bottom of the back and hips, and after a physical examination and discussion of their medical history, it is determined that Prolotherapy both at the back and at the hips is recommended. So the cost would be $900 plus $600 per hip. On the other hand, your back pain could involve just treating your region back and nowhere else. A quick note on guided injections: The ultrasound guide for injections is used as needed and is included in the price of prolotherapy. The fluoroscopic guide, such as digital motion X-ray or C arm, has an additional fee. For example, the DMX or C-arm guide is necessary for some cases of upper cervical spine and would be the example of $1,400 below to treat the neck, instead of a lower cervical treatment without fluoroscopic guide that is $900. When you become a patient, be sure that all prices are explained in advance in each visit, and no treatment or laboratory tests are performed without the patient's prior approval. When you are here, our team spends the costs with you before the treatment is done. Cost for Prolotherapy, Plasma Rich Platelet, Stem Cell Therapy, Tests and Other Treatments Insurance Requests Caring Medical will provide you with a detailed statement that you can send to your insurance company for possible refunds. The bill will be marked as paid, asking the insurance company to send any refunds directly to you, the patient. Please note: Health insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company only. We are not part of your contract and we cannot guarantee any level of insurance refund. As long as we retire from participation in insurance disputes, we will provide you and/or your insurance company with any information we can release. We strive to provide you with the best level of attention and will continue to help you try to get as much refund as you can from your insurance company. Medicare/Medicaid We are not a Medicare or Medicaid provider and claims for services received here cannot be sent to Medicare or Medicaid. We understand that this can be disappointing for patients to listen at first, but once you experience the difference in the quality of care and the integrity of the treatment technique, it is easier to understand. Since Medicare/Medicaid have determined that they will not cover Regenerative Medicine services, including Prolotherapy, Caring Medical cannot be part of this system. We are a specialized clinic for complex pain cases where it is necessary to take time with the patient to understand and analyze what is really going on that is producing their symptoms and being able to provide a more comprehensive examination of your case. Most patients have already experienced that Medicare/Medicaid are naked bone systems that value the patient's volume on quality care. That's why many Medicare patients feel they receive about 4 minutes with their providers, and that no real analysis of their case or comprehensive treatment plan was achieved, which led to continued frustration in the progression of symptoms and disabling arthritis. When you see a Medicare/Medicaid provider, you can usually only offer treatments like cortisone and pain pills to try to temporarily relieve chronic pain, treatments that may have horrible long-term side effects. In short, when you are looking for temporary pain relief, you see a Medicare provider for pain pills—when you are looking for pain resolution and restored function, you see us for Prolotherapy! Side or complementary insurance If you have private secondary insurance, you can send the claim to them. The claim must accompany a letter of understanding regarding the services provided by Caring Medical and Medicare does not cover our services. We will generate this letter for you, along with the detailed statement, if you want to file a claim to your secondary insurer. HSA/FSA FundsThe funds of health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA) can be used for our services. Many patients with these accounts find that this is an excellent way to use their health care funds not available for medical care outside their network plans! Legal casesCaring Medical stays away from cases such as worker compensation, car accidents and legal cases. Patients who choose to receive treatment at Caring Medical must pay 100% at the time of service and receive receipts for their services. Patients are responsible for submitting their own claims. Do you have specific questions about our treatments? E-mail or call us! Our staff is excellent to evaluate cases and highlight approximate costs when you schedule your appointment. If you want our team to take a closer look at your medical case, call us at 239-308-4701 or email. We have placed this page at the disposal of those who want to have an idea of costs but are not ready to discuss your medical case in more detail or schedule yet. We hope you found it helpful, as you know, it is rare to find real prices for medical procedures on a hospital website. Our policy on phytositian references For patients who would benefit from adjunctive therapies while undergoing H3 therapy, such as physical therapy or hormonal tests, your Proloterapist will refer you to a specialist based on your individual case. Please understand that we can't offer recommendations for other PRP or Stem Cell therapy doctors. The information we provide on our websites and videos refers to the experience of our professionals and H3 Prolotherapy services only available here. Comments are closed.
